Math

by Cody and Gavin

"Math is a fun but challenging subject" said Colton Davis a Springville Junior High School student. Math has been a fun class for most of the students here. Some of the students in the Secondary math honors 1 have been recently learning quadratic expressions while the standard math program is going over congruency of triangles. Paige Dyett one of the students in math honors program said math is cool and decimals are a fun part of math. In this term the honors program have done a data analysis program where we collect information and find the central tendencies and graph the information.

In the Secondary math 1 they haven't done any projects; however, Addyson Rowland enjoys how math is going and likes doing problems with slope intercept form. Also there are the students where math isn't their favorite but there are exceptions that are fun, for example Heidi Summsion doesn't enjoy math but likes graphing and dialations. In this class they haven't had any projects.

In eighth grade mathematics the aura surrounding is of acceptance of the class where graphing is a favorite; however, they haven't had any projects. While in the seventh grade math, where they enjoy the topics, they learn and have many opportunities to apply what they learned in projects. A current topic of theirs is angles while eighth grade is focusing on dialations.

In most students opinions the math programs and teachers are fun. There hasn't been anything out the ordinary for math classes happening, but we can appreciate what we have experienced in math class.
