Some people in Ms. Hotchkiss's classes say she's a great teacher. They have learned cool things in her class. Blaise Toelupe, a 7th grader at Springville, says he learned a lot from the lessons she taught. "She teaches at a level where no one is confused, everybody understands what she says when she says it." He enjoys her class because he has friends in his class, and is able to hang out with them. They also do fun experiments that help them with what they are learning. 7th graders got to make bugs from marshmallows at the beginning of the term too.

In Mrs. Paxton's class, along with the other 8th grade classes, they've learned about phenomenons, the periodic table of elements, photosynthesis and cellular respiration, and synthetic vs natural materials. Gavin Cruser, an 8th grader at SJHS, says all the labs she's had them do were always fun. In fact, just before the 2nd term/1st semester ended, they had the chance to make plastic out of milk and vinegar.

Mr. Kindrick is one of the 9th grade teachers most people know. Kj Kauwe, a 9th grade boy, has Mr. Kindrick as his science teacher. Kj says, "He's just the right mixture of strict and calm, we are able to get through multiple things in class and also have fun while we do it. "

In conclusion, our SJHS science teachers, and science programs are the best. The kids at SJHS are able to be lucky enough for all of our awesome science teachers. In science it's easier to understand, and to do good on test, assignments, and so on.
