English:

"This week in Mrs.Ottley's class we are doing an argument essay on whether or not social media should be banned or not." Elizabeth Wafford. Eliza is a seventh grader here

English at SJHS. "I like English its pretty lit, we always have a fun time with Mrs.Ottley. In eighth grade Rylee Andreasen is in Mrs. Jensen and she is learning about Anne Frank "I actually really like English" in her English class they are learning about Anne Frank. Kim Torres in ninth grade is writing slam poems for the schools future poetry slam. "I like poems they're pretty cool."

Spanish Immersion:

"well we are learning about the Aztecs\ and the Mayas and the past of country's" said Alina Simpson In Spanish they are learning about the past and the history about countries they have been talking about. They are learning about leaders and people that has been a big part of there country's history

LIA:

"This semester in Latinos in Action, we've been tutoring kids and writing essays about our families and our back ground on our early life and our childhood and like from where we are." said David Lopez. In LIA they focus on tutoring and giving back to our community. They also focus on there futures and on collage, on family, how to become successful leaders.

Chinese immersion:

In Chinese Immersion they are learning about feng shui which is a system of laws considered to govern spatial arrangement and orientation in relation to the flow of energy, and whose favorable or unfavorable effects are taken into account when siting and designing buildings.
