Science and Health

Health and Science are two fun classes at SJHS that have super fun teachers in charge of them. In Science they do fun experiments almost every week. This week the students are learning about physics and how our universe functions. Our amazing Health teachers are Ms. Allison and Mr. Hammon. The fabulous science teachers include Mr. Dahl, Ms. Hotchkiss, Mr. Jensen, Mrs. Paxton, Ms. Merrill, and Mr. Kindrick. The Science teachers like to make class fun by doing experiments. And in Health they learn about the human body and how it works. They are very fun classes with fun teachers in charge of them. A lot of students really enjoy these classes.

8th grade science is currently learning about physics and energy. They are teaching transformation and transferring of energy and the different types (Kinetic and potential).They are doing fun experiments on sound and gravity to learn more about the world. Ninth grade biology just finished learning about natural selection and evolution.

Most students say that their favorite part of science is the teachers. Seventh graders, Eighth graders, and Ninth graders all say that their favorite part of science are their amazing and hilarious teachers.
