PBS Learning Media as a Digital Resource for Teachers

PBS LearningMedia has direct access to thousands of classroom-ready, curriculum-targeted digital resources. PBS LearningMedia builds on the strength of public media and is designed to improve teacher effectiveness and student achievement. Resources are aligned to Common Core and national and state standards and include videos and interactives, as well as audio, documents, and in-depth lesson plans. Anyone can browse PBS Media by standards, grade level, subject area, and special collections to get most appropriate content he/she wants. Teachers can also favorite and share resources with their class and colleagues. Best of all, PBS LearningMedia is free for PreK-12 educators and students.

PBS is not only committed to transforming learning across the U.S., but also the world. While the site is tailored to US National and State Standards, the site is open to international users who may access a wealth of free content.

Standards ensure that students in different schools and classrooms across the country are taught the same basic information on a particular subject. Some states have created customized standards that are used exclusively within their state. PBS LearningMedia labels all national standards Common Core State Standards (English and Math) and National Standards (all other areas of study).

Teacher Tools is a set of productivity tools that make it easy for educators to share free, educational and inspiring resources from PBS LearningMedia with their students in a way that engages students while teaching them 21st century skills. These tools also help educators implement personalized learning objectives for individual students by giving them media and quizzes that are appropriate for their grade or skill level.

The PBSLM Student Experience allows students to browse and search educational and inspiring resources from PBS LearningMedia for a homework assignment or for lifelong personal learning. The PBS LearningMedia Student Experience includes the following features:

· - Students of any age or grade level can browse an search resources from PBS LearningMedia

· - Students can register using a simple registration flow designed specifically for students

· - Students can mark any PBS LearningMedia resource as favorite, or download resources for offline viewing

· - Students 13 or older can create a Storyboard on their own and share it using a public URL

Anyone can share resources through Google Classroom, Remind, Schoology, Email, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

ބީއެސް މީޑިއާ އަކީ ހަމައެކަނި އެމެރިކާގައި އުނގެނުމަށް މަގުފަހި ކޮށްދިނުމަށް ހެދިފައިވާ އެއްޗެއް ނޫނެވެ. ދުނިޔޭގެ އެހެން ހިސާބުތަކުގައިވެސް މި ޕްލެޓްފޯމްގެ ޒަރީޢާއިން އުގެނުމަށް މަގުފަހި ވާނެއެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން ދުނިޔޭގެ ކޮންމެ ހިސާބެއްގައި ހުރެގެންވެސް އިންޓަނެޓްގެ މެދުވެރިކޮށް އުގަންނައިދީ އަދި އުނގެނުމަށް ބެނުންވާ ކޮންމެ މީހަކަށްވެސް މީގެން އެއްވެސް އަގަކާ ނުލާ ބޭނުންވާ މަޢުލޫމާތު ހޯދިދާނެއެވެ.

ސްޓޭންޑާޑްތަކުން ކަށަވަރުކޮށްދެނީ އެމެރިކާގެ ތަފާތު ސްކޫލުތަކުގެ އަދި އެކި ކްލާސްރޫމްތަކުގައި ކިޔަވައިދެނީ އަދި ދަރިވަަރުން އުނގެނެމުންދަނީ ކޮންމެ މާއްދާއެއްގައިވެސް އެ މާއްދާއަކާ ގުލޭ އެއް ބޭސިކް މަޢުލުމާތުތަކެކަމެވެ. އެމެރިކާގެ ބައެއް ސްޓޭޓް ތަކުގައި އެ ސްޓޭޓަކުން ބޭނުންވާ ވަކި ސްޓޭންޑާޑްތަކަކަށް ކިޔަވައިދެއެވެ. ޕީބީއެސް މީޑިއާގައި އެމެރިކާގެ ޤައުމީ ސްޓޭންޑާޑް ތައް ހިމަނާފައިވާނީ "ކޮމަންކޯރ ސްޓޭންޑާޑް" (އެއީ އިނގިރޭސި އަދި ހިސާބު) އަދި "ނޭނަޝަނަލް ސްޓޭންޑާޑް" (އެއީ އެހެނިހެން މާދާތައް ހިމެނޭގޮތުން)އެވެ. ސްޓޭންޑާޑް ބްރޯސްކުރުމަށް މި ލިންކަށް ފިއްތާލާށެވެ.

ޓީޗަރ ޓޫލްތަކަކީ އެއްވެސް އަގަކާނުލައި ޓީޗަރުންނަށް، އުނގެނުލަށް ބޭނުންވާ އަދި އިތުރަށް ޝައުޤުވެރިވާ މައުލޫމާތު، ޕީބީއެސް މީޑިއާއިން ދަރިވަރުނާ ހިއްސާކުރެވޭ ގޮތަށް ހެދިފައިވާ ޓޫލްތަކެކެވެ. އަދި އެއީ 21 ވަނަ ޤަރުނުގެ ކުރިއަރާފއިވާ ހުނަރުތައް ދަރިވަރުންނަށް ކިޔަވައިދީ އުގެނުމުގައި ޝާމިލްވާނެ ޓޫލްތަކެކެވެ. މި ޓޫލްތައް އިތުރަށް ދަސްކުރުމަށް މި ލިންކަށް ފިއްތާލާށެވެ.

މި ޕްލެޓްފޯމުގައި ޓީޗަރުން ދަރިވަރުންނަށް އެސައިންމަންޓުވެސް ދެވިދާނެއެވެ. އަދި އެސައިންމަންޓް ޝެއަރ ކުރުމަށްފަހު ދަރިވަރުގެ ވިއު އިންނަގޮތް "ސްޓޫޑަންޓް ވިއު" އިން ފެންނާނެއެވެ. އެއަށްފަހު "ޓީޗަރ ވިއު" ބަދަލުވެސް ކޮށްލެވޭނެއެވެ. މިގޮތަށް ހެދުމަށް ލިންކަށް ފިއްތާލާށެވެ.

މި ޕްލެޓްފޯމްގައި "ޕީބީއެސްއެލްއެމް އެކްޕީރިއެންސް" އިން ދަރިވަރުންނަށް އެސައިންމަންޓު ހެދުމަށާއި އަދި އަމިއްލަ ކުރިއެރުމަށް މަޢުލޫމާތު ހޯދުމަށް މަގުފަހި ކޮށްދެއެވެ. މީގައި ހިމެނޭ ބައިތަކަކީ

· މި ޕްލެޓްފޯމުން ކޮންމެ ލެވެލް އެއްގެ ދަރިވަރަކަށްވެސް މަޢުލޫމާތު ހޯދިދާނެއެވެ.

· ދަރިވަރުންނަށް ހާއްސަ ރެޖިސްޓްރޭޝަން އިން ދަރިވަރުންނަށް ހާއްސަ އެކައުންޓެއްގައި ރެިސްޓަރ ވެވިދާވެއެވެ.

· މި ޕްލެޓްފޯމއިން ދަރިވަރުންނަށް ކަމުދާ ރިސޯސްއެއް ފާހަގަކޮށް އޯފްލައިންގައި ކިޔެވމަށް ދައުންލޮޑުވެސް ކުރެވިދާނެއެވެ.

13 އަހަރުން މަތީގެ ދަރިވަރުންނަށް މި ޕްލެޓްފޯމުގައި އެކުދިންންގެ އަމިއްލަ ސްޓޯރީބޯދެއް ހަދައި ޕްބްލިކް ޔޫއާރުއެލް އެއްގޮތައް ޝެއަރ ކުރެވިދާނެއެވެ. އިތުރަށް ދަސްކުރުމަށް މިލިންކަސް ފިއްތާލާސެވެ.

މި ޕްލެތްފޮމުގައި އެމީހަކު އަމިއްލައަށް ފޯލްޑަރއެއް ހަދައި ކަމުދާ ރިސޯސްތައް އޯގަނައިޒް ކުރެވިދާނެއެވެ. މި ލިންކުން މިކަން އިތުރަށް ދަސްކުރެވޭނެއެވެ.
