This week we looked closely at the number line and shared how we can use it as a tool to help us count. The children practiced saying numbers that would come before or after another on the number line. They practiced accurately writing single digit numbers and some teen numbers through different games. We have also been keeping track of our number of days in school to know when the 100th day will happen and it will be on Tuesday!!

Science 

We started another science unit titled Force & Motion. During this unit we will discuss different ways we can make objects move and how we can change the way an object is moving. We will investigate how we can change the motion (direction and speed) of an object by changing the force (push or pull). This week we investigated motion through art. Mrs. Aucter set up stations for us to see how ramps would impact paint and drawing with markers. See the blog post for photos from our Integrated Arts time on Monday.
