We continued our geometry unit by reviewing attributes of different 2D shapes. The kindergarten friends described 2D shapes. They noticed the number of sides and corners with different shapes. They also started working on forming numbers accurately while counting pattern blocks used to make designs. We continue to work on counting forward by crossing all decades accurately (69, 70).

Science 

The children researched what their Vermont animal needs in order to live. They used "Pebble Go" and library books to find out what it eats and where it lives. They sketched the habitat so they can build it when we return from break. They are excited to make little homes for their clay animals soon!
