We started Unit 4: Collect, Count and Measure. Please notice the family letters in your child’s folder describing the skills and concepts in this unit. This week the children measured the length of their shoes using cubes. They brainstormed ways to measure accurately. They traced their shoes on paper and practiced measuring the length of other shoes too. We also continue to practice counting forward making sure to say all numbers in sequence.

Science 

The children learned about reptiles and amphibians this week. They listened to nonfiction books to learn fun facts about different animals and compared/contrasted them. They  also looked through books to learn about life cycles. Next week we will continue learning about amphibians and begin learning about fish.
