Shared link Remote Session

Web Console

  • Click on "Sessions" in the left sidebar

  • Click on the "Create session" button

  • Enter in the client's name, this helps with finding the session in the list if there are multiple pending sessions

  • Click on the "Create Session" button

  • There are two options to connect with a client

    1. Tell the client go to www.startcontrol.com and have them enter in the PIN Code

    2. Share the URL in an email or chat message

  • Either options will prompt the client to download and install a program called DamewareRE.exe

  • After the client installs the program, a session will show up in the Console

    • If it doesn't show, refresh the screen

  • Click on the icon that looks like two computer monitors

  • A window will pop up with the remote session

Technician Console

  • Open the Technician Console

  • Click on the "Start New Session" button

  • There are two options to connect with a client

    • Tell the client go to www.startcontrol.com and have them enter in the PIN Code

    • Share the URL in an email or chat message

  • Either options will prompt the client to download and install a program called DamewareRE.exe

  • After the client installs the program, a session will show up in the left sidebar

  • Click on the session in the left sidebar

  • Click on the "Accept Request" button in the lower right corner

  • A window will pop up with the remote session
