SchoolDude is the ticketing software used by the Technology department for work assignment and tracking. Maintenance tickets are managed with Asset Essentials. Account creation is a self-service process, please follow these directions for doing so.
Open the MJUSD homepage
Scroll to the bottom of the page
Look under the Quick Links heading
Click on the Schooldude.com link
Log into SchoolDude with your account and continue to Step 5
If you do not have an account, select the option at the bottom of the page that says "Never Submitted a Request? Register Here!" and continue to Step 3
Fill out the requested information
Click Register (after making your account for the first time, you MUST create a SchoolDude ticket. If you don't, your account will be removed)
If you do not see an number in the Account Number field when creating your new account, then try following these steps in Internet Explorer
After logging in, select the IT Request tab at the top of the page
The contact information auto-fills from your account. The number can be changed when submitting a ticket.
Select your school location in the Location dropdown menu
Select the area in the Area dropdown menu
Type in the room number in the Area/Room Number field
Click on the problem type that is most closely related to your issue in the Problem Type selection area
Type a description of your issue
Enter the asset tag number for the device in the Tag Number field (The asset tag is printed on a blue and silver sticker on the device)
Click Submit
You'll be prompted for a final Submittal Password to submit. That password is "password" without the quotation marks.
