Manually updating a chromebook

1. Login on the Chromebook

2. Click the status area in bottom right corner of the screen

3. Click the Settings icon

4. In the window that appears click About Chrome OS (don’t see that, keep reading). Or you may see settings at the far left of the screen. Click that and then “About Chrome”

5. In the window that appears, click Check for and apply updates. Your Chromebook will start to install any available updates.

6. After the updates are installed, click Restart to update. To confirm that your Chromebook is up to date, check the "About" window again.
