Boot to BIOS
Press "F10" on boot for HP computers
Disable USB boot devices
Newer BIOS: Advanced> Boot Options> Uncheck USB Storage Boot
Disable optical boot devices
Newer BIOS: Advanced> Boot Options> Uncheck CD-ROM Boot
Enable Number Lock on Boot
Newer BIOS: Advanced> Boot Options> Check NumLock on at boot
Disable Legacy Boot
Newer BIOS: Advanced> Secure Boot Configuration> Select "Legacy Support Disable and Secure Boot Enable" in the Configure Legacy Support and Secure Boot dropdown menu
Add a BIOS admin password
Newer BIOS: Security> Create BIOS Administrator Password
Save changes and Exit Bios
Newer BIOS: Main> Save Changes and Exit
Boot to network
Make sure ethernet is plugged in, computer will not boot from the network over WiFi
Press "F12" on boot for HP computers
Select the "IPv4 Network" option
Log into Microsoft Deployment Toolkit with MJUSD.com credentials
Microsoft Deployment Toolkit will not authenticate with MJUSDClassroom.com credentials
Select the appropriate task sequence for the computer
The difference between Admin and Classroom computers are the programs that are deployed by default
Change the computer name
<asset tag>-<site code>
Add to the appropriate domain
MJUSD.com for Admin computers
MJUSDClassroom.com for Classroom computers
If the computer is being reimaged, then select the move user data option
Backup the user data before starting the imaging process to prevent data loss
When the image is complete, there will be a window left open that states the imaging is complete
Fix any errors that are listed
If it's a laptop, add the appropriate WiFi network
Staff WiFi for MJUSD.com laptops
Student WiFi for MJUSDClassroom.com laptops
Shut down and re-box the system
