Assure rescuer safety before contact with patient.
Follow General Trauma Protocol.
Mandatory interventions:
a. Cardiac monitoring
b. Oxygen
c. IV access
d. Spinal immobilization
Assure patent airway and administer high-flow O2. Intubate if needed.
Initiate Isotonic Solution (NS or LR) 0.9% NORMAL SALINE infusion at TKO rate.
If CARDIAC ARREST or DYSRHYTHMIA present, refer to appropriate protocol.
Treat burns per Burn Protocol.
Splint any potential fractures.
Refer to Pain Management in Trauma Protocol.
