Code of Conduct
MCPS remains firmly committed to the Montgomery County Board of Education’s vision, as outlined in
Board Policy JGA, Behavior Intervention, Safety, and Well-being Plan. This vision entails the creation of
positive, respectful, orderly, and safe learning communities that foster intellectual development, citizenship,
responsibility, and mutual respect among both staff and students. We firmly believe that every member of
our diverse school community shares the responsibility to cultivate an environment conducive to learning,
one that upholds the essential dignity of all students, parents/guardians, and staff.
