MJS Weekly Reflection

January 22 - January 26

As I was saying to students leaving the building yesterday, "We made it halfway through the school year!" I am proud of our students and staff for the great progress we have made as a community this year. Our MJS ONE Community continues to grow and we look forward to the continued success during the second half of the year!

7th & 8th Grade Advisory with Jim Stroker

On Wednesday we had our first virtual session with Coach Jim Stroker. The topic for 7th and 8th grade was Decision Making with a focus on the difference between choices and decision. We started by viewing a video created by Coach Stroker and followed it up with a few engaging activities to help our students build upon the lessons taught by Coach Stroker.

In an effort to create a comprehensive learning environment for your child, we are excited to bring Home Huddles into your homes. A Home Huddle is a special time for your family to connect, reflect, and engage with the character education lessons we are exploring at school.
