The Leigh Academy is always delighted to hear about the lives of former students and this is no exception.

Thomas left The Leigh Academy a year ago after completing his Post-16 studies with us. Thomas had always expressed a desire to join the RAF and this is exactly what he has achieved!

Thomas' Mum contacted us to give us this update:

'I thought I would give you an update on Thomas a year after he left The Leigh. You may have been aware he wanted to do a apprenticeship with the RAF. Tomorrow he Graduates from RAF Halton after finishing Basic Training. He will then be heading of to RAF Cosford to start an Aircraft Technician Mechanical Apprenticeship.'

We couldn't be more proud of Thomas and wish him the very best in his RAF career
