Independent study photography project

In order to push students to learn new photographic techniques, to gain new interests in photographic styles, and to challenge their dedication to being photographers outside of the classroom , students are independently exploring photography techniques, themes, and styles that are of interest to each of them.

Students will plan and produce a portfolio of photographs based on what they want to learn about photography. Each student in the photography class will maintain a page on this site with a mininum of 5 new images updated weekly.

For this project, students have chosen to focus on learning at least one photography style and at least two editing techniques while exploring 2 - 5 themes that are of interest to each of them.
