Comanche Weapons and Tools!

Comanche bows were made out of Osage orange, ash or hickory wood. They were strung with with buffalo sinew. There arrows was made out of dog wood that had been tipped by bone, flint or steel.

The Comanche Indians was experts with the bow and arrow. They would put steel on the tip of the arrow so when it hits the prey, they would die. The Comanche Indians' main tool was a horse because it would take you places. They would ride on the horse with a bow and arrow to kill buffalo and to defend themselves. They made shields out of thick rawhide. The Comanches were known to be fierce warriors.
