Coahuiltecans ' Shelter

The shelters of the Coahuiltecan's tribe were small and they were moveable shelters for homes. To make their homes they placed reed mats and buffalo hides over bent willow saplings to make them . The mats and hides could be quickly rolled up to take to their next camp. Trenches were built around the Coahuiltecan's camp. The Coahuiltecans had to be ready to move at any time.
