Who Should Take This Class?
Level 1 is a great match for anyone with little to no experience with the Japanese language. Students should expect to spend around 30 minutes a week reviewing the writing systems outside of the classroom. Levels 2-4 expect to spend around 1 hour a week learning new kanji and completing more complex tasks.
Students will develop knowledge of a language and culture other than their own along with appreciation and respect of differences which will serve them well in our multicultural, multilingual society. Many businesses benefit from Japanese language speakers, giving students an advantage over others.
