Construction_Final Cut_AW.mp4The Construction pathway takes students from introductory engineering and construction concepts into increasingly advanced residential and commercial building experiences. After completing the foundation courses, students study the major phases of construction from start to finish, including site layout, concrete, floor and wall systems, structural framing, roofing, exterior finishes, stairs, masonry, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Students progress from foundational learning into more complex construction applications, using plans and industry practices to complete increasingly advanced projects. The pathway culminates in an optional Work-Based Learning experience, where students can apply their skills in real-world settings such as internships or apprenticeships and explore careers in construction and construction management.
