AP U.S. Government and Politics is a college-level course that examines the foundations of American democracy, the three branches of government, constitutional rights, Supreme Court decisions, political ideologies, elections, and civic participation. Students will analyze historical documents, political data, and current events while developing critical thinking, discussion, and evidence-based writing skills.
