Earth Systems Science: Astronomy
Astronomy is a year-long science course that explores our solar system, stars, galaxies, and the universe. Students investigate topics such as the Earth-Moon-Sun system, planetary motion, light and telescopes, stellar evolution, galaxies, and cosmology. Through hands-on activities, astronomical observations, data analysis, and research projects, students use real astronomical data and tools to investigate the universe and develop their own scientific questions.
