Tutoring outside of school

ISPH does not promote private tutoring and strongly recommends that ISPH staff do not tutor students that they teach in school. However, there may be exceptional circumstances in which it is preferable for the teacher to tutor the student; for example, when a student has to make up considerable ground in an examination course because of a late start, or prolonged illness. All proposed cases of private tutoring involving ISPH staff must be approved by the Head of Primary or Head of Secondary.
