Remaining in school

It is not appropriate for students to remain in school for the purpose of ‘hanging-out’, playing or socialising with each other. At the end of each school day, children should be either: (i) Making their way home; (ii) Attending one of the supervised activities; (iii) Working in the library; or (iv) Sat with their parents if they are remaining in school whilst waiting for a sibling or appointment with a member of staff.

It is not appropriate for children to be roaming around the school whilst their parents are in the Community Room. If parents wish to allow their children to play on the Adventure Playground - they must supervise directly. Those students waiting to be collected at the end of the school day are not allowed to wait in the Reception area.

Students who are in school waiting for parents after 4.15pm are welcome to wait in the seating area outside the Community Room or the Canteen.
