Child protection

ISPH believes that Child Protection is the responsibility of all members of the school community. We are committed to ensuring that all students within the ISPH community are kept safe and free from harm.

We acknowledge that different cultures have differing definitions or approaches to Child Protection. ISPH does not condone physical punishment in any way and promotes the use of alternative methods such as positive behaviour management. We seek the support of parents in protecting and nurturing their children’s emotional development by backing the school’s policy of non-physical punishment.

The school conducts a police background-check on all staff prior to their appointment to ensure they are safe to work with children and have no criminal record.
