Happy Friday everyone!

It's been a really busy week with lots of fun as we enjoy this special time of year.

Care Inspectorate

We had an unannounced visit to Breakfast Club, ELC and Out of School Club on Tuesday and Wednesday this week from the Care Inspectorate.

We received positive feedback and are very pleased with how the visit went. We look forward to receiving our full report in due course and will share it with you once it is published.

Human Rights Assembly

Thank you to P4 pupils for leading Human Rights Assembly yesterday.

''Human Rights Day takes place on 10th December every year. ''

''Human Rights is something what everyone has. You have rights and you need to follow.''

''It is important to celebrate Human Rights because everybody can be unique and protected.''

Staffing

Our cook Mrs Wylie is retiring from her post at Christmas. We thank her for her service and many delicious lunches over the years.  Ms Gannon has been appointed to the post and will start in January.  Ms Gannon was in today and has met the catering team and the children.

A new musician in residence,  Ms Sutton will start in January 2024.

Fundraising

A massive thank you to Jacob, Oliver, Logan, Ross, Connor and Aidan who collected £200 towards Central Football team strips. The children have raised almost £300 in total.

Home School Partnership Learning

Hanukkah is an eight-day Jewish festival that commemorates the re dedication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem. It is a time of joy, gratitude, and remembrance of the miracle that occurred when a small amount of oil lasted for eight days in the temple's menorah.  As a family can you find out more about this festival?
