How to setup a Star TSP100 printer on Windows 10 or greater.

If setting this up on a Windows based machine for the first time, you will need to download the futurePRNT driver software from Starmicronics website.

http://www.starmicronics.com/support/default.aspx?printerCode=futurePRNT

Once it is downloaded go ahead and install the driver package.

Right click on the file and select Extract All.

Once you click Extract you will see the following:

Once you click Autorun you will then click Instillation.

Click I accept.

Click Yes to allow install.

It will then launch the installer..

Click Next.

Ensure Typical is checked and then click Next.

Now, click Install.

Finally, click Finish.

At this point you will want to plug in the printer. (You can also close out of all open windows and setup screens.)

Once you plug in the printer it should automatically be added to Windows.

Once plugged in the printer will be added. Now head to Printnode and we ensure the printer is selected.

Head over to Printnode and take a look and ensure the box is checked next to the printer.

If the "Printers Active by default" is checked, remove the checkmark and only leave a checkmark by the Zebra and Star printers.

These should be your final settings. Aside from you may have a Star printer checked as well.

Now head to LeafLogix and make sure that the printer is setup.

Next after clicking on the new printer you can configure it.

Printer names are standardized as such.

Station#_Label or Reciept_Med or Rec

Example: 06_Reciept_M

If a new printer was setup you will need to assign it to the station where it is located.

In LeafLogix head to POS>Maintenence>Registers

From this page select the register you need to assign the printer to and from the dropdown, select the printer. and then click Update.

Next we set the default printers by station so the POS will default to the stations assigned printers.

Now simply log into the POS Terminal and run a test run to ensure the labels are printing.
