Export a recording from HikCentral From the Playback screen in Monitoring

How to export a clip from a specific time/day range.

To export a clip in HikCentral. Ensure you are in playback mode. Then once in playback mode click on Export as noted below. 

Once the Export menu is open. You can click on the date and a time/date selection window will appear. Select the days/time you want to download for and click ok. (You are welcome to set a password or the video if it is sensitive in nature. Then click OK.)

Choose the preferred format for the video. Set a password if needed. Also choose where you want to save the file under Path. (You will need VSPlayer to view the videos. If you do not have this click the box to download VSPlayer. It should be installed. That or reach out to IT and we will get this installed for you.)

Then click save to export the video file.
