How to log into the HikCentral Client for Windows
Logging into HikCentral Client for Windows
First you will need to download the client from the server if you do not have it installed already.
Just head to 98.186.18.233:85
(HikCentral is best configured on Windows, on macOS you will be told if something is not supported on MAC in the browser. If you encounter this you will need to use a Windows machine.)
This will take you to a page that looks like this:
Go ahead and log in with your credentials, if you do not have credentials please open a ticket with IT by submitting the request form.
Once you are logged in the page will look something like this:
This page can be customized to your preferences, this view is centered around access control for this account.
Follow the steps in the image to download the client software. Once it downloads, install the client.
Once the client is open you will click on Show Server Address
Then input the server Address and the port to the server
The Server IP is 98.186.18.233
The port is 85
Then enter you username and password and click login. It will load and download the information from the server before the app launches.
After it finishes downloading the resources from the server.
Then you will be logged into the Client App for Windows.
