macOS Printer Troubleshooting

Here are some steps you can take if a printer is not printing.


1. First thing to do if you have a printer that stopped printing on macOS is a simple machine reboot.


If rebooting a machine does not address the printer and nothing is still not printing. 

2. Ensure Printnode is running, if you do not see this icon in the Apple menu then you will want to go to Applications or do a Spotlight search for Printnode and open it. 


Once Printnode is open labels will likely print what has already been sent to the printer. 

If Printnode is running but labels are still not printing. 

This is the point where you will remove the printer and re-add the printer to the mac that is experiencing this issue.

To remove the printer. Head to Chrome and go to: localhost:631/admin 

Then click on Printers then then on the Zebra printer in the list.

Once into the Zebra printer you will click the dropdown and then click on "Delete Printer"

Click Delete Printer then on the next page you will see confirmation of the deletion. 

Now that the printer has been deleted. It's time to add the printer again.
