How to view/playback Cameras in HikCentral Windows

If you are logging in for the first time you will want to make it easier to find what you are looking for. At the top of the Client, after you log in for the first time. Click, Switch at the top of the screen.

To view the cameras in HikCentral you will login to the HikCentral client with your supplied username or password. Then click on Monitoring. 

From here you can select the number of cameras you want in a view. 

Choose the number of cameras that you want to view. Try and keep this under 36 cameras. The PC can easily get overworked if you have too many being viewed at once. 

To add cameras to your view. Simply drag and drop the cameras you want to view into the Window Division page. (Pro tip: you can also double click on the camera you want to add it to the window division page.)

How to playback the cameras in HikCentral. 

Once you are in playback mode then you can select the cameras you want. (Depending on the computer you are viewing on you will want to limit to to as few cameras at once as possible.)

If you want to view a different day in the date field at the bottom click on the date and select the date you want to view. Then scrub to the time on the time bar you want to view for that day.
