Parciau Cenedlaethol / National Parks:

Mae Parciau Cenedlaethol yn diroedd sy'n cael eu gwarchod gan Awdurdodau'r Parciau. Maent yn ardaloedd o dir sy'n cael eu hystyried i fod yn brydferth iawn. Mae 15 Parc Cenedlaethol yn y DU. Mae tri o'r rhain yng Nghymru. Mae'r bywyd gwyllt a'r planhigion sydd yn y parciau hyn yn cael eu gwarchod oherwydd bod rhai ohonynt yn brin iawn neu dan fygythiad o ddiflannu’n llwyr. Mae'r trefi, y pentrefi a'r safleoedd hanesyddol yn y Parciau Cenedlaethol hefyd wedi'u gwarchod.

National Parks are lands protected by the Park Authorities. They are areas of land that are considered to be very beautiful. There are 15 National Parks in the UK. Three of these are in Wales. The wildlife and plants in these parks are protected because some are very rare or threatened with extinction. The towns, villages and historic sites in the National Parks are also protected.

There are many animals, plants and flowers in the National Parks of Wales. Your task is to go on a nature hunt walk near you and find living things. Use the sheet for support.

Mae'r tywydd wedi newid ac rydym yn dechrau croesawu'r Hâf. Eich gwaith yr wythnos hon yw mynd am dro ac i arsylwi ar y newidiadau o'n cwmpas. Ydych chi'n gallu casglu pethau naturiol e.e. blodau, dail gwahanol lliw, brigau ayyb er mwyn creu llun, collage naturiol? Gallwch greu beth bynnag yr hoffech, felly byddwch yn greadigol. The weather has turned a bit warmer and we are beginning to welcome the summer. Your this week is to go on a walk and observe all the changes around us. Can you collect some natural items such as flowers, different coloured leaves, sticks etc and make a natural picture or a collage? You are welcome to make anything you like and be as creative as you wish. Here are some ideas:

As we are concentrating on Welsh National Parks and outdoors this week your task is to go for a walk and use mindfulness to notice your surroundings. The clip speaks about Autumn but can you use the techniques for a Summer walk?

TASG/ TASK- Dewch i chwarae'r gem cyfri yma'n seiliedig ar ddail y goedwig./ Come and play this counting game based on forest leaves.

Dau chwaraewr i chwarae- Mae angen 2 ddis a phensiliau lliw mewn 2 liw gwahanol i'r ddau chwaraewr. Rhowliwch y dis, cyfrwch y smotiau a lliwiwch y ddeilen, rhif cywir yn eich lliw chi. Y chwaraewr gyda'r nifer mwyaf o ddail ar y diwedd sydd yn ennill. Er mwyn sicrhau nad yw'r gem yn para'n rhy hir efallai ei bod yn syniad i ddefnyddio 1 dis pan yn ceisio am rifau hyd at 6, a 2 ddis pan yn ciesio am rif hyd at 12!

Two players to play- You will need 2 dice and coloured pencils in 2 colours, one for each player. Roll the dice, count the spots and colour the leaf with the corresponding, correct number. The player with the most coloured leaves at the end of the game is the winner. In order to ensure that the game does not take too long use 1 dice when trying for numbers up to 6 and 2 dice when trying for numbers up to 12!

HER- beth am newid y rhifau ar y dail i rai hyd at 18 a defnyddio 3 dis yn lle 2?

CHALLENGE- why not alter the numbers on the leaves to ones up to 18 and use 3 dice instead of 2?

Lliwiwch y llun siapiau gan ddefnyddio'r lliwiau ar y grid. Ceisiwch gofio enwau'r siapiau wrth liwio ac hefyd nifer y corneli, ymylon syth a.y.y.b.

Colour the shape picture of the house using the colours on the grid. try to remember the names of the shapes whilst colouring and also the numbers of corners, straight edges etc.

Having completed the colouring task, now look around your home/ local areas for any everyday 2D objects e.g. road signs, windows and draw pictures of these items on the table or in your workbook. There are some examples below.
