Peintio Llun- Dewi Dinosor / (Painting a Picture- Dewi Dinosor)

Mae Dewi wrthi'n peintio llun sydd yn gyfrinach tan y 'syrpreis' ar ddiwedd y stori. Mae Dewi'n peintio gyda'r lliwiau rydyn ni wedi bod yn dysgu amdanynt yn y dosbarth. Gwrandewch ar y stori am Dewi, ei ffrind a'r lliwiau gwahanol ac yna atebwch y cwestiynau sydd yn dilyn.

Dewi is busy painting a picture which is a secret until the 'surprise' at the end of the story. Dewi is painting the picture using the colours we have learnt in class so far this year. Listen to the story about Dewi, his friend and the different colours and answer the questions which follow.

Rydyn ni'n bennaf yr wythnos hon wedi canolbwyntio ar y siapiau ciwb, silindr, sffêr, côn./ We have started looking at some basic 3D shapes in class this week by concentrating on the main characteristics e.g. how many corners?; can the shape roll?; is it possible to stack with the shape? etc. We have concentrated this week on the shapes cube, cylinder, sphere, cone.

We have been looking in class at the key features of winter in simple terms. Are you able to create a ‘Winter in a box/tray/card’etc. Don’t go to the expense of buying resources– use any junk items available at home. There are some examples and ideas below.

Come and listen to the story about Sam and his sister Sara in the winter. There is a surprise for Sam and Sara at the end of the story! Eich tasg yw i greu patrwm ail-adroddus yn ymarferol neu ar pabur gan ddefnyddio pensiliau lliw. Mae'n bosib i ddefnyddio Duplo/Lego, cownteri, adnoddau naturiol, ffyn loli neu hyd yn oed losin lliw megis Smarties neu M&M's!. Dewisiwch chi! As you can see from the above picture of the School yard, there is a repeating colour pattern on the fence, the roof of the Wendy house and on the floor of the yard. Your task is to complete a repeating pattern in practical terms or on a piece of paper using coloured pencils etc. It's possible to use Duplo/Lego, counters, natural resources (such as the leaves/twigs below), lollipop sticks or even coloured sweets such as Smarties or M&M's! You choose! It's possible also to vary the type of pattern from a simple AB/AB/AB pattern to ABBA/ABBA or even AABC/AABC as in the Duplo example below.

Dewch i wrando ar y stori 'Cyfrinach' am Llew, Siw yr eliffant a Dilys y draenog. Mae'r tri ohonynt yn brysur wrthi'n creu dyn eira cyfrinachol yn yr ardd. Gwrandewch yn astud gan fod cwestiynau am y stori i ddilyn/ Come and listen to the story Cyfrinach (Secret) about Llew, Siw and Dilys. The three of them are busy building a secret snowman in the garden. Listen carefully as there are questions to follow.

Edrychwch ar y daflen isod sydd yn cynnwys geiriau rhai o'r gwrthrychau gwahanol o'r stori 'Cyfrinach'. Mae sain cychwynol bob un o'r geiriau ar goll. Os ydych chi'n hyderus i wneud gallwch chi fynd heibio i 10. / We have been working on recognising numbers 1-10 over recent weeks through practical activities such as grouping object into numbered sets, creating practical number lines etc. Why not create a number line 1-10 similar to those in the examples below? if you are confident enough you could try going above 10.

Wedi creu'r rhifau ar gyfer y llinell rif ac er mwyn amrywio'r dasg, beth am ddechrau trefnu rhifau o rif gwahanol i 10 e.e. 4-9, 3-7 ayb?/ Having created the numbers and in order to vary the task, why not start to order the numbers from a number other than 1 e.g. 4-9, 3-7 etc?

Mae tasg ymarferol syml i ddilyn. / We have been doing work on 'position' in class this week using the book 'Ble mae Morlais?' (Where is Morlais?) as a basis for the work. Listen again to the book. There is a simple practical task to follow.

Speak them/ write them / read them / spell them correctly! If you're unsure of the meaning of some of them, remember to check in a dictionary.

Can you practise again reading the Tric a Chlic words in last week's homework? Remember also that we have been practising answering questions with 'Ydy/Nac ydy', 'Ydw/Nac ydw' etc when discussing the weather and various other questions. we have also been answering questions about 'Ble mae tedi...? (Where is Teddy...?).
