On Friday we focus on all things Welsh. Your task is to look and discuss the pictures below with an adult.

Celf / Art:

Mae'r ddraig goch yn symbol bwysig i Gymru. Mae'r ddraig ar ein baner. Eich tasg chi yw i greu draig goch. Edrychwch ar y lluniau am gymorth.


The red dragon is an important symbol for Wales. The dragon is on our flag. Your task is to create a red dragon. Look at the pictures for ideas.

Addysg Gorfforol / Physical Education:

Isod, mae lluniau amrywiaeth o fathau o symudiadau gwahanol. Ydych chi'n gallu dewis rhai (neu pob un!) o'r symudiadau isod a chyfri sawl un, neu am ba mor hir rydych chi'n gallu geu wneud e.e. sawl hop, sgip, neu am ba mor hir rydych chi'n gallu cydbwyso ar un goes? Gofynnwch i oedolyn i'ch helpu i gadw cyfrif/ amseru.

Below, are pictures of a variety of different types of movement. Can you choose some (or all!) of the movements below and count how many or for how long you can do each e.g. how many skips, hops or for how long you can balance on one leg? Ask an adult to keep count/ help you to time yourself.

Gwaith ffurfio rhifau/ Number formation practise:

Rydyn ni wedi bod yn ymarfer ffurfio rhifau yn y dosbarth yn ystod yr wythnosau diwethaf mewn nifer o ffurf gwahanol, gan ddechrau wrth wneud yn ymarferol e.e. gyda phaent, cownteri, pasta ayb. Ewch ati eto i ymarfer eich rhifau hyd at 10. Wedi meistroli hyn mae'n bosib i chi ysgrifennu unrhyw rif! Mae rhai syniadau isod ar gyfer ymarfer ffurfio rhifau yn ymarferol. Mwynhewch!

Over the past few weeks in class, we have been concentrating on practising number formation beginning with practical ways, such as using paint, counters, pasta etc. Why not continue to practise forming and recognising the numbers to 10? Once can write these numbers you can write any number at all! There are some practical ideas below on how to form numbers.

Wedi ymarfer ffurfio'r rhifau'n ymarferol, beth am geisio adnabod a ffurfio'r rhifau hyd at 10 yn ysgrifenedig, ar bapur gyda phensil, gyda sialc, gyda pheniau lliwgar ayb?

Having practised forming numbers in practical ways, why not try to practise recognising and forming numbers to 10 by writing on paper, with chalk, with coloured pens etc?

Gwaith adio/ Addition work:

Mae'r plant wedi bod yn gweitho'n galed yr wythnos hon yn creu symiau adio ymarferol gan ddefnyddio cownteri a dis. Mae rhai syniadau ychwangelo isod. Ydych chi'n gallu creu symiau/gemau tebyg?

The children have been working hard this week creating practical addition sums using dice and counters. There are some additional practical addition ideas below. Can you create similar sums/ games?

Why not now move on to recording your answers in writing? Complete this worksheet of forest objects. Remember to try and form the numbers correctly.

HER- beth am greu symiau eich hunain gan ddefnyddio dis (neu 2)? Rhowliwch dis (neu 2 ddis) a chyfrwch y nifer o smotiau. Cofnodwch. Yna rhowlwch eto a chofnodwch. Beth yw cyfanswm y ddau dafliad? Ydych chi'n gallu cofnodi fel brawddeg rhif e.e. 5+4=9.

CHALLENGE- why not create your own sums using a dice (or two)? Roll a dice (or 2) and count the number of spots. Write the answer down. Roll the dice again and make a note. What was the total of the throws? Can you write the number as a number sentence/sum e.g. 5+4=9.
