Since Easter, pupils send one daily featured task to their teachers, through Google Classroom.

Instructions for Parents for today's featured task:

Today's featured task is a Geography task, to be submitted through Google Classroom. Pupils need to watch Mr Voyle's introduction video, watch the S4C programme and complete the Quizizz task.

The aim of the task is to understand the impact of climate change on people and nature. In this programme, Professor Siwan Davies of Swansea University visits California.

Complex terms have been translated in the Quiz, and pupils are encouraged to turn subtitles on whilst viewing the clip in order to aid with subject specific terminology and regional dialect, where necessary. The Quizizz task will be live for a week, if pupils would like to return and improve their scores daily.

Pupils: Pupils need to explore the website listed for music, ready for their Music Focus Task on Thursday.

Three times a week, pupils will have a maths quiz in Google Forms, in their Google Classroom. The other two days they will practise their times tables. Today is a times tables day.

The Google Forms have been set up by the Maths Department, complete with feedback and answers, so that pupils can have instant feedback within Google Classroom.

Pupils should have completed two Audible books by now, and should choose another. Some books are longer than others. Some may take more than a week to complete. Pupils should choose one and stick to it until the end, before choosing a new one. All the books listed are currently free of charge during the CoronaVirus outbreak.
