TASGAU CERDD

Yr wythnos hon bydd eich gwersi cerdd i gyd yn seiliedig ar y darn enwog Pedr a'r Blaidd (Peter and the Wolf) gan gyfansoddwr o Rwsia o'r enw Sergei Prokofiev.

This week, pupils will have daily music tasks, all based on the famous Peter and the Wolf story, set to music by the Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev.

Tasg 1:

Gwrandewch a gwyliwch ‘Pedr a’r Blaidd’ gan glicio ar y linc uchod. Gwyliwch y clip cyfan cyn ateb unrhyw gwestiynau. Mae'n para 27 munud. Eisteddwch nôl, canolbwyntiwch a mwynhewch.

Pupils need to listen and watch ‘Peter and the Wolf’ by clicking on the video above. They need to watch the whole clip first, to enjoy the music and the story, before answering any questions. It lasts 27 minutes.

Tasg 2:

GWRANDEWCH ar gyflwyniad byr y darn eto (dim lluniau y tro hwn!) gan glicio ar play, ar y dudalen Internet Archive. Dechreuwch o 0:00 a gwrandewch tan 1 munud 45 eiliad.

Pupils need to re-listen to the short introduction (from 0:00 to 1 minute 45 seconds), this time from the recorded performance below - ears only this time! They then need to complete the sheet below by matching on paper the characters / instruments in the piece.

Maths Tasks

This week, the aim is to complete the 'Paratoi' (Preparation) section of the 'Cyflwyno Canrannau' (Introducing Percentages) booklet. Pupils have a paper copy of this on the back of the booklet they used before Easter. Pupils need to complete the work in the booklet, or on paper. There is also a PDF copy of the booklet below.

Today they need to complete exercises numbers 1 and 2 on page 3, and then exercises 3 and 4 on page 4. They should start by watching the video above, which should help them.

These are vocabulary challenges to revise important words for history. Pupils should work through the tasks, one by one, until they familiarise themselves with the words. The accuracy of pupils across year 7 before Easter was 73%. We know from the stats that not all pupils have completed them!
