Instructions for Parents for today's featured task:
Today's featured task is a Science task, to be submitted through Google Classroom. This is the long-awaited experiment with the red cabbage! Thank you for going out to buy one in advance of today, following our text and blog at the beginning of half term last week. Pupils will need to complete an experiment in the kitchen, which will involve hot water. They need parental permission before embarking on the task.
Mrs Booth's two videos will explain to pupils, step by step, what they need to do. Pupils will then complete the work on a Google Slides, which will need to be submitted back into Google Classroom. Pupils can complete the questions in the Slides without doing the experiment, if you do not have the necessary red cabbage! No need to worry!

Pupils should have completed two Audible books by now, and should choose another. Some books are longer than others. Some may take more than a week to complete. Pupils should choose one and stick to it until the end, before choosing a new one. All the books listed are currently free of charge during the CoronaVirus outbreak.
