Instructions for Parents:

An infographic combines information (writing) and graphics (pictures).

Today and tomorrow, pupils need to create an infographic in Welsh, sharing information about their favourite hobby. The task can last over 2 days.

Last week they created a mind map about their favourite hobby, and they need to use this as their starting point today.

Now it’s your child's turn to create an infographic of their favourite hobby/activity. They can draw it by hand or complete the task digitally. Remind them to use the mind map. These are some ideas of where they could create their infographic digitally: Adobe Spark, Google Drawings, Canva, Easelly, Microsoft Publisher etc.

By hand, or completed digitally: the infographic needs pictures, plenty of facts and plenty of creativity.

There are various options for completing this work, including drawing it on paper.

Where is Adobe Spark?

When your child logs into their Hwb account at hwb.cymru, Adobe Spark is one of the new options available through your child's single Hwb login. See photo below.

Click on Google for Education (see above) on your child's Hwb login page
You land on the Google Classroom page
Click on the "waffle" (or Rubik's cube) on the top right - Apiau Google / Google Apps
Click on Google Drive
In Google Drive, click on Newydd/New on the top left, then Mwy/More - see picture below

The other options listed: Canva, Easelly, Microsoft Publisher are not available through Hwb, but your child is welcome to use them if they have access to them.
