Today's featured task is a German task, to be submitted through Google Classroom. Pupils complete the work on a Google Form. All details are below in the German section. They need to practise the new verbs before attempting the Google Form.

Parents: Following this week's work, pupils need to think about the sporting activities on offer at Bro Edern. Do they offer something for everybody? Pupils need to write a letter to Mr Pritchard, the Headteacher of the school, to suggest what other activities they would like to see, explaining their reasons.

Below you will see an A4 support card and a document to help pupils to structure their task. Pupils need to complete the work on paper or in their Welsh books, if they have them.

Parents: Today, pupils will complete their Focus Task on the past tense verbs that they have learnt this week. The task is on a Google Form in their Google Classroom. BEFORE they attempt the task, they need to make sure that they have been through all the week's tasks and that they are familiar with these new verbs. Parents: Today, pupils will watch a programme on S4C Clic to understand the impact of climate change on people and nature. Mr Voyle's video explains what pupils need to do. The programme is from 2003 and is about polar bears and the Arctic. Having watched the whole programme, pupils need to complete the quiz on Quizizz, which they can repeat if they need to improve their score.
Help: Mr Voyle's video above should explain all. Pupils are encouraged to turn subtitles on whilst viewing the clip, if they need help with subject-specific terminology and any regional dialects. Pupils should have a S4C Clic account by now! Complex terms have been translated in the quiz. The programme lasts 23 minutes and the quiz should take no more than 15 minutes. The quiz will be live for a week.
