Module 1

In Module 1, we have been focussing on materials.  We can name different materials, identify objects that are made from these materials and sorted materials according to their properties.  Then we tested different materials to see which materials were waterproof and which materials were not.  We were surprised by some of the results!

Module 2

In Module 2, we have looked at a variety of Scientists and inventors.  We looked at Ole Kirk Christensen who invented lego.  We also looked at the inventor of ear muffs, Chester Greenwood and completed an experiment to find out which material would keep water warm for the longest.  We all predicted it would be the fleece material and we were right!
