What traditional stories and story characters do we know?
We explored some of the different traditional / fairy stories we know and found some we didn't know. We wrote lists of the characters we knew, using our phonics to sound out the words.

We were excited for parents to join us at Drawing Club to explore the story Winnie and Wilbur at Chinese New Year. Parents joined in with our lessons and had a go at drawing their own Chinese dragon and write a caption. We then made dragons together.

As part of our writing development, we write sentences based on a picture at the beginning of every day. We are applying our knowledge well and can write sentences that are readable by others.
