Module 1

In reading this term we have looked at three different books, 'In the Deep Dark Wood' by Algy Craig Hall and Ali Pye, 'Rapunzel' by Bethan Woollvin and 'Ruby's Worry' by Tom Percival.  We have started to develop our comprehension skills by retrieving information, inferring and predicting what might happen next as well as looking at new vocabulary.

Module 2

In Module 2, we have looked at the books 'Lost at the Toy Museum' by David Lucas and 'The day the crayons quit'  by Drew Daywalt.  We have continued to develop our comprehension skills using these books alongside our decoding skills in our phonics lessons.
