Our homes
We talked about our homes and the different types of homes we live in. Some of us live in houses, some in flats, some of us have gardens, some have a garage. But every house is a home!
Our journey to school
We talked about the different building and features we see on our way to school. We used photos and our memories to draw a map of our journey to school. Can you identify some of the features?

Module 2
St Andrew's Day
As part of our inquiry into celebrations, we found out about St Andrew's Day. St Andrew is the Patron Saint of Scotland. We found Scotland on the map and looked at videos and photos of what it is like in Scotland. We compared this to what it is like in Hoo.

Walking through Hoo
We visited the Hoo St Werburgh church. As we walked from the school to the church, we pointed out all of the different buildings and places we are familiar with.

We decided to make elf treasure maps and follow them. We followed the tracks we drew to find the cheeky elf!
