Module 1

In this module, we will conduct fieldwork around the school and learn about the UK and its surrounding oceans. Our first lesson focused on fieldwork methods, stages, and objectives. We then explored the countries of the UK—England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales—discussing famous landmarks and facts, including their flags and the design of the UK flag.

Module 4

In Module 4, we focused on more field work- looking deeper at why certain localities are suited for a purpose more than others. We were lucky enough to have a Geography teacher from the secondary teach us! In Week 1, we looked at where we live- England- Hoo- Chattenden.

In Week 3,  we explored where would be best for a picnic bench. We focused on weather, ground level and view. We found that the field was the best place for a picnic bench as you were able to get lots of sunshine and the ground level was flat. The car park would not be a great place as it is not very safe and the view isn't very pleasant.
