Podcasting has spread to the classrooms of Rolfe! Students in Ms. Perkins, Mrs. Melendez, Mr. Wahl, Ms. Perez and Mx. Pena’s classes have all been learning about this skill while they study varying subjects. Podcasting takes a lot more effort than just sitting in front of a microphone and talking! They research, write scripts, record and then edit.
Mrs. Melendez's gifted class has practiced writing scripts for podcasts. They then got to test it out on some of the school's professional equipment!
Ms. Perkin's classes used slides to help plan their podcast and then recorded them in Adobe Podcast.
Mr. Wahl's class tests out the microphones on their laptops as they use WeVideo for podcasting.
