Digital Citizenship

Rolfe students learned how to be good digital citizens throughout the year in Advisory class. They participated in various lessons and discussions to learn about social media use, safety online and their digital footprint. Many of the activities came from Common Sense Media which has even more tips and information families can use! See some of the extra activities Rolfe students participated in, showing their learning around digital citizenship. 

National Digital Citizenship Week

During Digital Citizenship Week, Rolfe students reflected on their digital footprints and created hashtags with ways to  make a positive difference using social media. They also created digital artworks with the Digital Citizen Creation Contest. They earned Tribe Bucks, treats and special Schoology badges for participating. 

Hashtags for Change

"Dough for Digital Citizens" Yearlong Contest

Students participated in digital citizen lessons throughout the school year. They were invited to participate in the "Dough for Digital Citizens" contest where they could reflect on their learning with Flipgrid videos and create other ways to show their learning. Mrs. Sheppard's class had the most participation winning a Dunkin' Donut Party. Students could also win treat bags and Tribe Bucks aka "dough."  See some of their reflections and their special event in Advisory below!
