Henrico 21 2023

Henrico 21 LifeReady Learning Exhibition is a long standing tradition in Henrico schools. This is the first year the county-wide event is back since 2019. It was held on March 29th at Glen Allen High School. Mr. Hyman's 7th and 8th grade students were Rolfe's chosen representatives with their lesson "Continental Innovations." See more of the project as well as the event below.

The Event

The Rolfe students pose with Mr. Johnson, our principal and Mr. Hyman, their teacher, at their table before the big event kicks off. They were each sharing a different innovative technology like the Code and Go Mouse, Ozobots and the 3Doodler. These tools were all used to learn about identifying the continents.

Joel shows an attendee how to use the Code and Go Mouse.

Visitors got to try out the 3Doodler table and create a large globe.

Jordan L., Joel A., Zachary E. and Mr. Hyman show off the table and the various tools they presented to visitors.

Hear more about the projects from Chris D. and Joel A. in the videos above.

Jaden's ozobot performs different "tricks" as it goes over the different continents. It took trial and error to get it moving correctly.

Joel A. creates a Flipgrid video while he practices before the event, explaining the various technologies and projects.
