Robotics Club with Henrico PAL

Students worked with Henrico PAL STEM program to build and code robots to complete tasks on a set obstacle course. The work took many months after school with the Henrico PAL group and Ms. McCombs. They competed on May 13th against other schools in the region as part of the Eureka Workshop CodeVA Robotics League Competition. Rolfe had the honor of hosting the competition this year.

The students use the provided manuals to help them build and code their robots. There were a lot of pieces and steps that took weeks to complete.

The group practices with their built and coded robots on the obstacle course.

The students had to maneuver the obstacle courses and show teamwork to complete the various challenges. Rolfe performed very well and scored the most points at the event!
