Little Adventurers

Our Little Adventurers programme is aimed at our Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) children who will benefit from extra support and exposure to a variety of experiences to enhance their learning and development. 

In the nursery, we have tailored our curriculum to support the children through the use of technology (Now Press Play, interactive whiteboards and a computer in the classroom), exploration within the natural environment (outdoor learning opportunities in the garden, gardening sessions in the kitchen garden and in Forest School sessions), off site trips (theatres, seaside and art galleries) and external visitors ( policeman, fireman, workshop entertainers). 

The Little Adventurers programme has helped to extend our children’s vocabulary and language skills, developed their imagination and built on their confidence to embrace new experiences.
